IB Biology Teacher

The European School is seeking a dedicated and experienced IB Biology Teacher to join our dynamic and international academic team. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire students and contribute to a high-quality learning environment aligned with the International Baccalaureate (IB) philosophy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and rigorous Biology lessons in accordance with the IB Diploma Programme (DP) curriculum
• Foster critical thinking, inquiry-based learning, and scientific curiosity among students
• Plan, prepare, and assess student work in line with IB standards and school policies
• Support students in Internal Assessments (IA) and Extended Essays (EE)
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and interdisciplinary learning
• Participate actively in school life, including extracurricular activities and professional development

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biology or a related field
• Recognized teaching qualification
• Experience teaching IB Biology (DP level preferred)
• Strong understanding of IB assessment criteria and methodologies
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to work in a multicultural and collaborative environment
• Proficiency in English (additional European languages are an advantage)
